Stepping on money

Hong Kong is a highly capitalistic society. In Money Carpet I enlarged and transformed the texture of a $100 Hong Kong Dollar banknote into a handmade latch hook rug, exploring themes of craft and labour, the comfort that money promises and subtle rebellion
in the act of stepping on it.
